Chateau Krakovany complex has been processing the grapevines for thirteen years already. Modern technology-controlled processing intertwines with efforts to preserve the nature’s aspect by minimizing the use of chemicals and being uniform. The grapes, which we grow in our newly restored vineyards in Šalov, are being processed with careful technology of pneumatic press at low temperatures.
The mash ferments using pure yeast cultures in inox tanks with temperature regulation. Storage and preparation before bottling takes place in the plant at Ostrov where wine’s physical-chemical and sensory characteristics are adjusted and stabilized.
Bottling the wine
The wine is bottled at two bottling lines with the output of 3 000 pcs per hour. Apart from our own wine, we also bottle wines for other wine makers. Our storage capacity is 12 000 hectolitres.
